ADVOCACY

My priority is to meet with the Cook County Board of Commissioners and advocate for additional funds to upgrade the computer system so appeals can be completed fairly and all Cook County computer systems can communicate with each other.

Our property tax code is governed at the state level, so I will also meet locally with our state officials as well as go to Springfield and make legislators aware of how their current vote(s) will impact our taxpayers and also suggest amendments to pass legislation that negatively impacts the resident’s property taxes.

Last but not least, I will stand with our local municipal leaders, who are on the front lines when it comes to hearing from our residents about the impact of property taxes on their daily lives.
